2009 VINTAGE RACING SERIES

We hope you enjoyed last year’s race and thank you for your support. We considered it to be a success and certainly it created a lot of interest with sponsors and competitors. From our observations and your comments, there have been a few changes. Please read our 2009 rules carefully and call if you have any questions or comments. All racers must be at least 18 years of age. Also, all sleds will have a working tether, NO exceptions. We encourage pre-registration to save time on race day and it is less expensive for the racer.

 

 

Class I: Pure Stock Single Cylinder

 

1.STOCK SLED UP TO AND INCLUDING 1973

2.HR SIZE CARB AND PORT MAXIMUM

3.STOCK CARB FOR YOUR SLED

4.NO TRACTION PRODUCTS

5.NO CARBIDE RUNNERS

Class II: Super Stock Single Cylinder

 

A.SNOWMOBILE

 

1.MODEL YEAR 1973 OR OLDER

2.MUST BE PRODUCTION LINE MODEL OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC, AND AVAILABLE WITH A SINGLE CYLINDER ENGINE

3.NO LIMITED PRODUCTION OR R&D MODELS

4.HANDLEBARS MUST BE ORIGINAL, MAY BE REWORKED IN ANY MANNER,. ANY CHANGES MUST BE WELDED, NOT ADJUSTABLE.

5.STOCK-APPEARING SEAT

 

B.ENGINE

 

1.FAN-COOLED SINGLE CYLINDER ONLY

2.ENGINE BRAND MUST BE AVAILABLE STOCK OR AS AN OPTION FOR CHASSIS USED

3.OVERBORE ALLOWED

4.NO PORTING OR POLISHING

5.CARBURETORS WILL BE ORIGINAL OR ANOTHER TYPE WITH SMALLER BORE

6.ANY STOCK-TYPE MUFFLER
